How we protect your health data
Titan.Care handles Protected Health Information (PHI). We are built to HIPAA security standards and apply medical-grade data protection across every layer of the platform — not as an afterthought, but as the foundation.
Every credential, session, and sensitive field stored in our database is encrypted using AES-256 — the same standard used by financial institutions and the US government. Even if someone accessed the raw database, your data is unreadable without the encryption key.
All communication between your device, Titan.Care servers, and Epic health systems travels over HTTPS with TLS encryption. Your health records are never transmitted in plain text — not when syncing, not when displaying, not when sharing within a Care Circle.
When you connect your Epic MyChart, login happens directly on your hospital's website. Titan.Care receives only a secure credential — never your username or password. We cannot access your MyChart without your explicit, real-time authorization.
Your login session is stored in a way that is completely invisible to any scripts or third-party code running on the page. This prevents session hijacking even if malicious code were injected into the browser. Sessions expire automatically after inactivity.
If you use email/password login, your password is cryptographically hashed before it is ever stored. The original password is immediately discarded. Even Titan.Care staff cannot see your password — it exists only as a one-way hash that cannot be reversed.
You decide exactly who can see each person's health data. Care Circle members can be set to view-only or full edit access. You can revoke any person's access instantly. No data is ever visible to a Care Circle member without your explicit invite.
Titan.Care is built to the security requirements of HIPAA — the federal law governing Protected Health Information (PHI). This includes encryption at rest and in transit, access controls, audit logging, minimum necessary data access, and breach notification procedures.
Titan.Care does not sell, license, share, or use your health information for advertising — ever. Your Protected Health Information is used solely to provide the service to you and the family members you authorize. We have no advertising business model.
All Titan.Care data is stored and processed exclusively on US-based servers. We do not use offshore infrastructure or transfer your health data outside the United States. Enterprise-grade firewall protection, DDoS mitigation, and rate limiting are active across the platform.
Every server request is authenticated and ownership-verified before any data is accessed or modified. A logged-in user cannot read or modify another user's records — ever. Our authorization layer has been formally audited with zero vulnerabilities found.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I connect my Epic MyChart account?
Go to the MyChart page from the sidebar and click "Connect MyChart." Search for your hospital or health system, then sign in with your MyChart credentials. Titan.Care will securely sync your appointments, medications, and immunizations.
Which hospitals and health systems are supported?
Titan.Care supports any health system that uses Epic MyChart — over 400 hospitals and health systems across the US. Search by name on the Connect MyChart page to find yours.
Don't see your organization? Let us know at support@titan.care and we'll add it. We're actively working with health systems on Cerner, Oracle Health, and additional platforms — along with new device integrations like Tenovi. If your provider is coming soon, just ask and we'll prioritize it.
Can I disconnect my MyChart account?
Yes. Go to the MyChart page, find the connected organization, and tap "Disconnect." This immediately removes your access tokens from our system. You can also revoke access directly through your MyChart account settings.
What data does Titan.Care access from MyChart?
With your authorization, we access: upcoming and past appointments, medication lists, medication dispense records, immunizations, and clinical notes and documents from your Epic EHR. We do not access billing records, insurance claims, or any data beyond what you explicitly authorize during the connection flow.
How do I add a family member?
From your dashboard, go to the Family section and tap "Add Person." You can add any family member — children, parents, or anyone you care for — and manage their health information from your account.
How do I delete my account?
Go to your Profile page from the sidebar, scroll to the bottom, and tap "Delete Account." This permanently removes your account and all associated data from our systems.
The app isn't syncing. What should I do?
Try disconnecting and reconnecting your MyChart account. If the issue persists, check that your MyChart login is active. Contact us at support@titan.care if the problem continues.
